Good to Know

Buy Early

Some benefits, such as coverage for pre-existing medical conditions, are often available only when you purchase within a short time after your first trip deposit.

Insure Your Full Trip Cost

Include every nonrefundable piece of your vacation, such as flights, tours and hotels booked separately.

Check Your Health Coverage

Many U.S. health plans, including Medicare, offer little or no coverage outside the United States.

Credit Card Coverage

Coverage through a credit card is often more limited than a comprehensive travel insurance policy, so check the benefits and limits before relying on it.

Cruise Line Protection Plans

A cruise line’s own protection plan may cover only the cruise itself, and some reimburse with future cruise credit instead of a cash refund.

Want More Flexibility?

Some plans offer a Cancel For Any Reason upgrade, which typically reimburses part of your trip cost if you cancel for a reason the standard policy doesn’t cover.

How It Works with Me

When we book your trip, I’ll share travel insurance options for you to review and purchase. If you decide not to purchase coverage, I’ll ask you to sign a waiver acknowledging that you declined it.

On the Go Vacations is not a licensed insurance agent or broker. I can share coverage options, but I’m not able to answer technical questions about policy benefits, exclusions or conditions. Please review your policy carefully and contact the insurance provider directly with any coverage questions.
